ANZAC Day

by

Anzac Day is the day Australians & New Zealanders remember our troops who who landed at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War 1. It’s also a day we think of past and current troops who have lost their lives while fighting for our countries.

They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them.

What a lovely post! In this time of such dissention about the war and whether we should or shouldn’t be there, let’s not forget those who volunteered to be there to protect our freedoms and safety.
