Red Velvet Romance

by

Terica emailed me looking for inspiration for her late spring wedding. She and her husband to be are both big fans of the colour red. He’s a University of Georgia fan while she is a member of a sorority with red and cream colours. They both love red velvet cake and want to incorporate the colours of the cake into their brunch wedding.

I love the fresh use of red and cream. A room filled with tables covered in white table cloths, topped with red tin pails filled with bunches and bunches of white flowers. A bouquet of simple, sweet poppies and a pair of red shoes set this board in motion.

A brunch wedding should serve light and delightful food- with sweet red velvet cake and white chocolate covered strawberries to finish.
