i like the wedding day and camilla looks! marilyn sang that line because in the movie where she performed the song, gentlemen prefer blondes, diamonds were better friends than her future father-in-law!

If I were a bracelet – I would be the “Elizabeth” wrapped around someone’s wrist. I also adore the Daisha Coin Pearl & Crystal Jewelry Set!!
She was inspired to sing the song after losing admission to France (Fiance’s daddy rejected her) b.c. she was believed to be marrying him strictly for money. She then performs this song in a night club to make ends-meat and survive.
Inspired by Marilyn, I named my dog Diademe Elle – roughly translated to Diamond Girl – (my best friend).

Technically it’s “Lorelei Lee” (played by Marilyn) who sang it. This is such a great movie! She sang this song when she worked in a nightclub after her would-have-been-father-in-law canceled her credit. She performed to wealthy businessman in order to make ends meet.

When Marilyn sang in 1953 that diamonds are a girl’s best friend… it was because she hadn’t seen those lovely crystal and pearls designs from Bonyta! My favourite is “Gabrielle Briolette Teardrop Pearl & Crystal Pendant Necklace”. I really love it! Crystal and pearls – the new girl’s best friend!
