Sydney bride Cynthia emailed me looking for a Sydney venue. The couple are big fans of the movie Mamma Mia and love the reception setting- but they’re only planning on having a maximum of 50 guests. This has made venue hunting a challenge!
Some of the venues listed below are able to set up private dining areas or mark off the deck for your use. As always do check each venue for more information.
Here are some venue suggestions!
The Rum Room at Argyle Venues
Aquamine
The Top Deck at Cabana Bar
The Rooftop Terrace at Luxe Studios
The Sun Deck at The Shore Club
Belmondo
Flying Fish Restaurant
Poor bride, so many wonderful choices. Well done!

Pilu at Freshwater beach also fits the bill – they have a gorgeous covered courtyard that looks amazing covered in fairylights looking over the beach…I think that it could be decked out similar to the Mamma Mia set.
Beach Road restaurant at Palm Beach also has a great feel to as does Cottage Point Inn (but I am not sure if they do Weddings anymore..)
Thanks the the tip Ali- I’ll add it in!
I love the Sun Deck. It’ll be perfect for a relaxed wedding…
You might also wanna check out Bather’s Pavillion. It’s right on Balmoral beach, the view is amazing and the food is yummy too! 🙂
gosh! lovely venues. I wish i knew about these when i went looking for venues in Sydney. I do have to say though my all time fave in sydney would definitely be catalina at rose bay. I also loved Studio24 for a funky intimate and modern wedding.
