Today’s wedding took place in one of Australia’s favourite holiday destinations- Bali!
The couple, Matt & Angie had a moment of love at first sight at the Glastonbury Festival. Matt has just moved to Australia and so soon after, Angie followed him.
The couple reside in Sydney, Australia and decided Bali would act as not only a holiday destination for their guests, but a halfway point between England and Australia.

Angie wore a vintage 1950′s sundress she found at a London market as her wedding gown
The bridesmaids had their purple gowns made in just six days after they had arrived in Bali.
Angie runs her own yoga studio in Sydney, so while guests gathered outside, Matt did a few yoga poses inside.
The couple used the Villa Pemutih in Bingin, Bali for getting ready, the ceremony and their reception.
The guys also got their suits made in the six day period before the wedding in Bali.
Angie and Matt enlisted a lot of help with their wedding day! Lorraine Nield of Bali Retreats (based in Australia) assisted guests planning their stay and Tracy Kidd of Bali Bliss ensured was the couple’s wedding planner in Bali. Everything had a local touch including the ginger and lemongrass welcome drinks.
The venue was decorated with fresh flowers and Angie’s bouquet included purple orchids.
Paying homage to Angie’s yoga background, the ceremony started with Angie and Matt holding hands and leading their guests in a two minute “om”.

It seems that Australia is very good (!!!) choice as wedding destination.. or maybe even honeymoon? I found these fotos absolutely beautiful. These days Ive been searching for honeymoon ideas.
