Satchel and Harmony

I love today’s wedding! Satchel and Harmony, today’s Wedding Wednesday couple organised a slightly different format for their wedding day and I love how it turned the day into a beautiful relaxed celebration! The wedding was held in Pensacola, Florida and came after the couple met in college in Pensacola and fell in love!

Instead of the traditional church ceremony first, Satchel and Harmony held a brunch reception at New World Landing. This allowed the guests to meet each other and for Satchel and Harmony to mingle with guests before the formalities of the day got underway.

Harmony wore a gold Badgley Mischka dress while Satchel wore his Air Force blues. Food included delights like pineapple cream cheese blintz with fresh fruit, quiche Lorraine, home-style potatoes, sausage, ham, biscuits, Crème Brulee stuffed French toast and assorted breads and muffins.

The ceremony was filled with touches from loved ones, During the ceremony, Harmony’s dear friend Julie McClure played the piano, her grandmother read an adaptation from the Love Chapter (I Cor. 13) while her sister read “The Blessing Of The Hands”.  Harmony’s father, a pastor, performed the ceremony for the couple which was written by Harmony.

Harmony’s best friend was unable to attend the wedding due to visa issues and instead watched via web cam at 3am from her home in Malaysia.
