Welcome back to Claire and Tim’s gorgeous Zoo wedding. I love this next set of photos, ice cream on a hot sunny day in your wedding dress? love it!

Claire and Tim held their reception in a room at the zoo overlooking an ornamental lake and Japanese garden.

Claire, a graphic designer, created all off the stationery. She designed the invitations, seating plan, ceremony booklets and place cards. Claire used the theme of animal silhouettes to compliment the zoo location and act as table “numbers” Favors doubled as place cards and were a nod to Tim’s love of gardening- guests received seed packets of basil, green pea or sweet peas.
Claire and Tim opted for a relaxed reception- there was no formal entrance and the speeches were kept short and heartfelt- perfect for the party atmosphere they wanted to create.

Claire’s aunt made a cumquat cake for the bride and groom using a Maggie Beer recipe. The cake toppers were sewed from felt by Claire’s sister in law.
Thank you Claire and Tim for sharing your wedding day with us, have a wonderful life together! Thank you also to the crew at You Can’t Be Serious for letting us share the beautiful photos!
