Lisa and Freddie chose invitations in orange and Steel from Hello Lucky! and made the seating cards and a display board introducing members of the bridal party to guests themselves.

Lisa says “I really wanted to choreograph our first dance. I basically had to twist his arm, but since we both are fans of hip hop music we decided to dance to “The Way I Are” by Timberland. It was so unconventional, but we really like the meaning to the song…plus it really woke the crowd up from their cocktail hour food coma! Unfortunately, I did forget some of the moves…but I don’t even know if the crowd knew it.”

It was very special for Lisa to have her father at 77 years old walk her down the aisle and join her on the dance floor.

Lisa and Freddie ordered a vanilla cake with fresh bananas and chocolate mousse- a comforting mix! The simple design was topped with orange orchids.

Lisa says “Freddie and I both love NYC and wanted our theme to be urban chic, but we also like things simple. We are firm believers of where less is more, but wanted to make it fun. Stak offered a photo booth where our guests can ham it up. Instead of a traditional photo booth where you climb into, Stak built a section that allows a whole group to act as silly as they want. They were able to capture some great moments with the photo booth.”

Thank you Lisa and Freddie for sharing your gorgeous wedding day on Polka Dot Bride! Congratulations on your marriage! Thank you also to Stak Photographer Duo for sending over today’s fantastic images!
