I feel as if this wedding should have been posted on Australia Day. It has all the classic Aussie elements- my favourite part? The delicious looking BBQ reception!

Liz and Dan DIY’d a lot of their wedding day touches. Liz says ” Dan and I designed the invites, collected vases from the op-shop for the flowers, made table runners from yellow gingham fabric from Spotlight, labels for water bottles, we made the lantern chandelier filled with fairy lights hanging in the hall, organised all the food and wine, my sister made the cake, a friend made Dan’s wedding ring and another friend did all of the flowers which were amazing.”

Most guests ended the night with their shoes off, paddling in the water to relieve the heat! Typically Australian and completely blissful!

Thank you for Liz and Dan for sharing the details of their wedding day with us (congratulations on your marriage!) and to Hailey from You Can’t Be Serious Photography for sharing the photos!
