Happy Saturday! Today’s shoot comes to us from Dan O’Day Photography.
Lexie was lovely enough to share the story of her engagement to Will. “Will and I met 4 years ago, shortly before he was posted to Darwin for work. After doing the long distance thing for three and a bit long years, I finally had the opportunity to move to Darwin and grabbed it with both hands! Will was very sneaky in planning the proposal – after a long week at work he suggested that we go out to dinner for a relaxing night. Being fairly new to Darwin, I didn’t really pay attention to the fact that he was driving in completely the wrong direction to the restaurant. Next thing I know, we’re parking next to the ocean and I’m being surprised with a picnic dinner!! The view over the ocean from our little spot was simply breathtaking and the picnic was perfect. We watched an amazing sunset together and just as the sun reached the horizon – Will proposed!!
Our wedding is set to be held in Canberra in November this year. We have some amazing plans for it – incorporating all things pretty and vintage with an overall touch of springtime elegance. I’m so excited!!”

I just feel good looking at these pictures, and they’re not even that overwhelming. Them at the middle of the street is surreal, very 8 1/2, reminds me of Blew, the bisaya short film.
