Amy and Jeremy – The Ceremony

by

Amy is such a glowing bride! I am always struck when I see the newlyweds (or almost newly weds) looking just so insanely happy. Amy and Jeremy had a first look so they could take their photos before the ceremony. Amy says “I loved the first look because it let us celebrate with all our guests straight after the ceremony instead of having to disappear and have photos taken.”

The ceremony was held by the river at Matilda Bay Reserve. Amy walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon.

Amy’s mother made an aisle runner to match the wedding stationery. It was silk screened with Amy and Jeremy’s name and wedding date at the top. Amy says “The aisle runner mum made was such a special thing for me, because we live so far apart it was hard to be involved in the wedding so this meant a lot to me. I have turned it into a wall hanging and am going to make cushions out of the remaining fabric.”

Amy and Jeremy placed sweet fans on each chair bought in Bali to ease the heat for their guests.

The recessional was “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. It was one of Amy’s late grandfather’s favourite songs and a way to have a piece of him at the wedding.

Check back soon- Amy and Jeremy’s marquee reception is coming right up!
