Belinda and Dustin
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – there is nothing quite like a Melbourne wedding and todays? It’s got everything – style, icons and all without the stress, the anxiety- it’s just relaxed elegance at it’s best!
Our newlyweds have a simple love story – they met at the races in 2007 and have been together ever since!
Today’s photographs are by Brent Lukey. I love Brent’s fun captures – he’s got the style of the couple down pat while still capturing candid moments and the Melbourne atmosphere.
Belinda wore a gorgeous Gwendolynne slim line gown with Jimmy Choo shoes. She carried a bouquet by Viva Flora.
Belinda and Dustin married at St Vincent Gardens, Albert Park. Belinda explains, “We chose the gardens as we live in the area and enjoy the gardens every weekend”. Belinda walked down the aisle to “two ukuleles playing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ with a female vocalist.”
Belinda and Dustin made sure to keep a relaxed vibe to their wedding day. Belinda explains, “It was important for us to share the day with family and close friends, however we didn’t want any of the ‘over the top’ wedding hype. Just a fun, relaxed and enjoyable day for all involved… we both agree the photos capture this perfectly.”
Belinda describes their wedding as “A party with a frock… simple, relaxed, enjoyable day without all the stress!”
“The Prince is a special venue to both of us as we have dined there many times and both enjoy their attitude towards fresh, simple, delicious food with style.”
The couple ordered a simple white chocolate cake from Ab Fab Cakes.
Viva Flora styled colourful arrangements for the tables. Of their first dance, Belinda says “It wasn’t planned but lots of fun when it happened – to be honest we cant even remember the song!” The couple hired 5pce Jazz Band to keep guests on the dance floor!
