This colour is so flattering to anyone, whether you have dark, red or blonde hair. It’s all in the way you put it together!

Combine with paler teal and dark chocolate

–       With pale teal and Lavender

–       With Spring Green and Apple Green

–       With mustard yellow and Pewter Grey

–       With Indigo and Pale Grey

–       With Raisin and pops of Magenta

–       With Raisin and pops of Saffron Yellow

–       With paler teal, Milk Chocolate and pops of Coral Orange

–       With paler teal and Sweet Apricot

–       With Pewter Grey and pops of a deep rust colour

–       With Midnight Blue and Lavender

–       With Pale Grey, Lavender and touches of Primrose Yellow

–       With Sea Green and Azure Blue

–       With burnished bronze and Antique Rose

–       With burnished bronze, silver and rose gold

–       Teal lends itself to a starkly elegant look, or a softer more ‘woodsy’ look. Here’s how:

Add into a black and white palette – teal glassware, silver candlesticks with white candles, white cloths, teal runner down the centre of the tables, white crockery, white flowers, soften with touches of pale teal in dessert bowls, favour boxes tied with darker teal ribbons, and subtle beading on the teal table runner – for an elegant look

For a ‘down in the woods’ look, add greens into your palette with pale grey. Look at tablescapes of moss, lichen, twigs, pebbles, fern fronds, votive holders made of silver birch tree trunks, set on oval mirrors to reflect the scene back to your guests. Add watery teal tablecloths, pale grey crockery, brushed stainless steel cutlery, an entrance of small trees and ferns to create a woodland path, bleached wooden furniture

–       Hydrangeas (think all white, or varying shades of blue, or their white/lime green hues), orchids (think oranges, pinks and saffron yellow blooms), all white flowers, green chrysanthemums, daisies (for an understated simple look) fern fronds, succulents

–       Peacock feathers/motifs

–       A simple white cake with filigree, polka dots, monograms, or old fashioned lace work piped in pale teal graduating to dark teal

–       A seaside wedding featuring teal, Sweet Apricot  and Watermelon for a different take on the usual blues and greens

–       Choose a fabric with a vintage feel featuring teal and build your wedding décor around this
