Nat and Mark

A vintage inspired, tradition filled wedding is always a beautiful wedding to pour over and today’s wedding of Nat and Mark is no exception. Filled with Lebanese traditions, Nat and Mark’s vintage inspired wedding is certainly a treat for the eyes and senses with everything from spirited dancing, to intense emotion.

Photos today are by Bec+Fo. I love the fun filled nature of their photographs – they capture the important parts of the day but are easy going, relaxed and full of joy.

Nat wore a gown by dressmaker Jeanette McCullough 0421 611 291 (who also made the bridesmaid’s gowns). She paired it with Nat-Sui peep toes.

Sandgate Rd Fresh Flowers (07) 3256 6344 ‎ created the floral arrangements for the day.

Nat walked down the aisle to Panis Angelicus by Mozart.

Nat and Mark were married at St Patrick’s Church. “We liked St Patrick’s because it was central and the exterior of the church is really beautiful. The peeling paint behind the altar just added to its charm.”

Mark wore a suit from TM Lewin.

The couple held their reception in the garden marquee at Victoria Park Function Centre. Nat explains “There aren’t many reception venues that can cater for large numbers in Brisbane so we were limited with choice, but one look at Victoria Park and it’s surrounds and views and we were sold. They really went out of their way to cater the function to our needs.”

The birdcage inspired cake was created by Middle Park Bakery (07) 3376 7965.

DJ Aboudy provided the music on the night.

Apart from traditional dancing, the newlyweds also hired a photobooth to keep their memories of guests celebrating. Nat explains “One of the really special touches was having a Photobooth on the day – we went with In The Booth and they were really professional and easy to deal with. Our guests loved being able to take mementos of the night home with them and we received a photo album and DVD of all the photos. It’s hilarious and such a meaningful keepsake.”

Congratulations Nat and Mark! Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us on Polka Dot Bride! Thank you also to Bec+Fo for sharing today’s images with us!
