I know that a groom’s suit hasn’t been given the same status as the show stopping wedding dress. The experience though, of being fitted by a master tailor like Patrick Johnson is something that should be of high importance for the Grooms and BBs (Best Blokes) out there and quite frankly is a treat that shouldn’t be missed. The question is, can a well fitted suit really be all that different from a less expensive version? You betcha! A good suit will play to your physical strengths and camouflage the inevitable weaknesses. Not just that, but a great suit will be worn again and again which is more than can be said for a wedding dress. An investment in comfort, style and general spiffiness is a no brainer really!
On that note, you may remember Julian’s post Well Suited from a few weeks ago, in which he spoke to us about visiting the talented P. Johnson for his BB’s suit fitting. Here are the photos from that visit, taken by the equally talented Scott Ebsary, showing a glimpse of the creative process and art that is excellent tailoring.

There is something so special about having a suit made. After all if a bride goes to all the expense and trouble for her gown shouldn’t a suit be the same? Considering he will probably get more wear out of it!
I love that Julian was able to have the suit fittings captured as memories and P Johnson look incredible!
