Kristin and Stewart

I love I Love Wednesdays , not only because Milena is incredibly lovely but she also captures such beautiful images! (and I really like saying “I Love Wednesdays!”). Milena sent over the engagement photographs of Kristin and Stewart which she captured on Sydney’s Cockatoo Island. I love the industrial feel and the ferries- so fun and so Sydney!

Kristin tells their story. “Steven and I met at a mutual friend’s wedding 4 years ago. We didn’t talk to each other the night we met, but we had already set eyes on each other. A few months later, we started dating and Steven is the sweetest guy in the world! He has a big heart to his family and friends, which I really adore.”

“Time flies in a blink, two years later we are still happily together. I brought Steven home to see my parents and he proposed in my hometown Shanghai, on the famous bund during our first overseas trip. I thought it was a funny proposal because I had no clue it would happen that night.”

“On a random night of 16 November 2010, he told me he really liked the view from bund and wants to go take some photos after dinner. I was tired and grumpy, so I refused to go (Gosh….). Steven tried to talk me into it and ended up having to bribed me with two Starbucks bears, so I agreed to go. (I collect those bears…haha) I still remember it was a freezing cold night, 0 degree!! We sat in an outdoor café overlooking the other side of the river. He told me he is going to the bathroom and came back with two bears. As I was checking out the bears, he had his one knee down and asked me if I want to marry him with the most gorgeous ring in a little square box in his hand.”

” I was stunned and felt breathless for one second, and of course I said “YES YES!!!” He told me afterwards that he wants to do the proposal in Shanghai because that’s where I was born and raised for the majority of my life, although this is his first trip to Shanghai and he barely speaks any Chinese.”

“We found Len and her “I love Wednesday” when I was doing random search on Google for our wedding photographer. The name attracted to us at the first sight! Len is such a lovely and bubbly person and her style is so warm and natural which we fell in love with after the first appointment. Our engagement photo shoot really just felt like an excursion to the Cockatoo Island and Luna Park, it was fun, relax and stress free. She also gave us a lot of ideas for our wedding day photo locations! Len puts so much effort and thought into our engagement shoot. We couldn’t be happier with the photos! ”

All the best,”
