Louise and Adam

Gosh the Southern Highlands are incredibly beautiful and Louise and Adam’s wedding fit right in! I think their little attendants had me smiling from beginning to end – like little, pink tutu clad fairies, these sweet bridal party members make me want to twirl!

Louise and Adam met while working together. Louise says ” Our wedding day was the most beautiful day we could have ever imagined. ”

Photographs of this splendid affair are by John Benavente. I love the beauty John captured in his images – from the candid moments, to the beautiful details and gorgeous backdrop the Highlands provided!

Louise and Adam chose Montrose House. Louise remarks “The venue was beautiful, a country wedding with picturesque background, a homestead built in the 1800, surrounded by endless gardens including trees that were over 100 years old. Both the ceremony and reception was held on the grounds. ” Adam and his groomsmen wore Blaq suits and Julius Marlow shoes.

The bride and her maids had their hair styled by  Zoe Blackburn Hair and makeup by Megan Spence.

Louise chose a gorgeous gown from Pallas Couture which she paired with shoes from Dune  and jewels from  Peter Lang . Louise’s bridesmaids wore lavender gowns from Peter Bartlett (02 4229 6979) with shoes by  Robert Robert and jewellery from Mimco.

The gorgeous styling was executed by She Designs. “We wanted a vintage feel to the wedding, we went with the vintage collection from our wedding stylist Sheree from She designs. I chose the flowers to be lavender and baby’s breath. We feel that the photos show the amount of detail that went into making our day feel the way we wanted it to be.”

Louise walked down the aisle toFall At Your Feet” by Boy and Bear.

“One of the most special parts of our wedding day was the ceremony and saying our vows to each other. ” The couple were married by Linda Gregory .

Louise says ” Our wedding was everything we could have hoped it to be and more. Everything was perfect, there were a few hiccups, but nothing that could change how special the day was!”

Of their photographer, Louise says “He was incredible on the day and made the photos enjoyable and fun!His photos were AMAZING!”

The event was catered by Citrus Catering  with a simple, elegant two tier wedding cake Balgownie Village Patisserie.

Guests were entertained with music from The Tom and Dave Show.

Louise says ” Our first dance was romantic and nerve racking!  We danced to ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by Dire Straits ”

Congratulations Louise and Adam!~ Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us on Polka Dot Bride! Thank you also to John Benavente for today’s beautiful photographs!
