Michelle & Steven

The colours of today’s wedding were what drew me in- the Spanish inspiration, the vivid hues, it all led to a beautiful festive wedding celebration just right to kick us off for a week of wedding inspiration! The wedding comes to us all the way from Santa Barbara from the delightful Embrace Life Photography who have captured the colour and life of today’s celebration with such festivity.

The Spanish inspiration came from their ceremony location, the sunken gardens at Santa Barbara Courthouse . Michelle says “It was such a lovely space in the heart of the down town.  We fell in love with the Spanish architecture and style.  We tried to incorporate the Spanish Theme into our wedding using the Spanish tiles in our stationary, for our cake, in the reception music, and even the margaritas we served. ”

Michelle and Steven met before the ceremony for photographs.

Of their photographer, Michelle says “Our photographer was amazing, Adam George with Embrace Life Photography.  Adam and his wife Amber were so great to work with through the entire process.  They were a calming energy on the day of our wedding and we are so pleased with how our pictures turned out. The story they captured, the vivid colors, everything about them we love!  It was such an amazing day for us and the pictures bring us back there along with all the feelings and emotions that come with it.  They did an amazing job, we can’t thank them enough.”

The reception was held across the road at Arts & Letters Cafe. The bride and her mother made the table runners, assembled the Lani Blue Stationery designed stationery and assembled the flower girl bouquets.

A Piece of Cake created the Spanish inspired wedding cake topped with bright red roses.

Congratulations Michelle and Steven! Thank you for sharing your wedding with us! Thank you also to Embrace Life Photography for sharing today’s wedding!
