Classic and elegant, white peonies with miniature roses

When thinking about your wedding flowers it’s often suggested that you look to what’s in season as this not only provides you with the best quality and reliabiltiy for your special day but can work out better on the purse strings too. Here at Flos Florum, we simply love working with seasonal produce and source stock directly from our local growers. In Victoria with the distinct changes in seasons (often all in one day) we are often spoiled for choice for the best seasonal blooms.

Spring pokes its head out after the long winter hibernation and the scents of Lilac fill the air. Budding Blossoms, Dogwood and dancing Bluebells lift the mood as the short winter days get swapped for promise of longer, warmer nights. Early spring is a beautiful time to make the most of the last of those winter blooms with Ranunculus a particular favourite for September brides and a gorgeous alternative to roses.

Sweet Peas and Ranunculus

Delicate and with a hint of a bygone era Sweet Peas and Rhododendron lower achieve the perfect garden look for vintage brides looking for a more natural feel. Whilst sweet scented blooms of Hyacinths, Freesias, Stock, Boronia and Jonquils linger sweetly in the memory.
