I’m always slightly enchanted when it comes to stationery and I was delighted when these beauties landed in my inbox from Melody at Mr & Mrs. I think, seeing the different ways fronts, paper and design come together gets my creativity flowing and seeing a new designer pop onto my screen with a collection that is simply gorgeous is always exciting.

Melody started Mr & Mrs after discovering her love of design in fashion- where she designed fabrics! It soon translated to paper, and weddings and so a career in wedding stationery began.

Melody is all about customisation, so she works with couples closely to understand the style and kind of wedding they envisage and then designs a beautiful stationery suite to match. From laser cut creations, wooden invitations, foil and even letterpress, Melody’s designs are contemporary (though the classic designs are making an appearance too) and filled with freshness!

This suite was designed around the bride’s love of yellow and the groom’s love of his dog.  It was finished off with lovebirds and shimmering foil.

A farmland wedding in Kangaroo Valley set the scene for this rustic, botanic inspired wedding invitation suite.

Vintage inspired this invitation which included a laser cut cover and lace paper envelope.

Winter wedding? Well May and cold anyway! This invitation took on a storybook theme, drawing inspiration from “The Jolly Postman”.

This suite was for a double wedding reception, the couple chose a modern coastal style in blue, white and yellow for their Vanuatu wedding and classic black and white with whimsical fonts for their Sydney celebration.

Classic, embossed invitations styled with beautiful fonts, gold and bronze foil make for classic with a luxurious twist.
