Nathaneal and Sinead

Our Wedding Day consisted of friends and family coming together between the trees in a campsite in Penrose, NSW. The combination of friends and families made the day run smoothly and kept the cost really low for us. Our theme of Vintage free spirit worked within the luscious nature surrounding the whole event. From the beautiful flowers to our dancing on the lawn bare foot at the end of the night. Home made decorations and great food and drink made everybody have a fun-filled day. It was like a mini festival with one of our friends being a DJ, another decorating the cake and the list continues of people who helped us out! Using local vendors as well made our day truly unique and was key to our D.I.Y. day.

This is Me, My Mum and My Maid of Honour getting our hair done at The Cutting College Bundanoon, followed by Make-Up artist Brita Benjamin creating beautiful ladies at the Lavender Lodge in Bundanoon, a cosy little cottage perfect for weekend stays!

The day went on with Champagne and smiles being shared around.

The boys getting dressed bow ties and all and flowers all put together by beautiful Tula!

A surprise present from mum! A beautiful car to take me to the wedding!

Nathanael, my husband to be started crying as we drove down the driveway! The emotion became too much!

… and away we go!

As our guests arrived Sigur Ros and Jonsi filled the air, as I walked down the aisle Barry Louis Polisar “All I want is you” played. It was perfect!

Alice Beasley and Freyja Benjamin worked their Photographic magic on creating our beautiful wedding photos, being a Photographer myself I had to have both Digital and Film memories of the day. Our friends told stories of how we met, read poems and sung about the Summertime our celebrant Jennifer Noonan was great and let the ceremony roll smoothly and how we wanted it.

The bridesmaids wore beautiful dresses ordered off ASOS and wore their hair a little different from one another, I gave each of the seven girls a set of earrings for the day that was their little gift from me. I got my dress from Dolly Up Vintage Emporium which was the last place I looked as I had been all around the city and tried on a lot of white gowns but found the perfect purple original 1950s gown for under $1500 with tailoring included from Erin and her lovely Nanna!

As we signed our official documents Sufjan Stevens “I think that dress looks nice on you” playedwe then were pronounced Mr and Mrs. Seiler and walked out of the “chapel” after giving the thumbs up to our friends and family as husband and wife to ” Up on Melancholy Hill” by the Gorillaz!

… and off we went for bridal party and family snaps.

We also hired a photo booth company called Instapose which proved to be a success, which went on during our afternoon tea and whilst our friends were setting themselves up in the Campers Village!

Glorious food and dessert lined the tables and filled hungry bellies! White chocolate mud cake with a cute little topper we picked up on our pre-honeymoon in Iceland.

Finally we strolled out onto the lawn for our dance to Jonsi “Sticks and Stones” however the DJ was having difficulties so we were sung “In the Jungle” from the Lion King by our family and friends.

We then ran through our tunnel of love to the car which took us away for our wedding night at Peppers Manor House, Sutton Forest.
