Nghi & Chris

So much gorgeous vintage fun in today’s wedding! Nghi chose a 1920s vintage gown and paired it with a Juliet cap veil. They married in a Melbourne ampitheatre and celebrated in an industrial style brewery. Bow ties were a plenty, and love? Love was oh so present!

Don Barrington Photography captured today’s wedding with fun, quirk and plenty of stories.

Chris and his groomsmen wore mismatched shirts, bowties and braces from Jack London. Chris wore a powder blue suit.

Nghi wore a vintage gown and her bridesmaids wore gowns in shades of green.

Of their photographer, Nghi says, “Don Barrington is an international photographer, based in Anchorage, Alaska. He has a creative and unique style to his photography and he pays attention to details and moments other photographers might not catch. He loves to travel and he loves photographing weddings. His passion is to travel around the world shooting stylized weddings.”

Nghi and Chris held their reception at Mountain Goat Brewery.

Nghi made the stationery and design elements herself – theming the wedding around vintage fun and vintage bicycles.

Chris and Nghi had House of Bread and Pastries make a red double decker bus as their wedding cake to pay homage to Chris’ UK roots.

Guests enjoyed pancakes with their choice of toppings for dessert.

For their first dance, Nghi and Chris performed a west coast shuffle to “Moondance” by Van Morrison.
