Leiela Evening Wear, (“derived from the Italian Lei è La meaning ‘There she is”) was founded in 2005 by Lucy Laurita is all about drama, beauty and red carpet style.

Lucy collaborated with  Jessica Abby Photography , Simone Cockinis & Christie McIntosh . The team set out to create a 1920’s shoot with a soft, modern feel.

Each gown – with featured stitching in rich purples, bronze, gold and coppers is carefully considered and oh so dramatic. With a love of textures and having created many pieces for the theatre, Lucy’s design sense is stated as a glamour inspired mix of contemporary designs. For me, the stitching and colour infused through it makes it different, bold and such a talking point.

Gowns: Leiela Evening Wear / Macarons: Simone Cockinis / Flowers: Christie McIntosh / Venue: Treacy Centre / Jewellery: Ashlee Lauren / Jewellery: Jeanette Maree / Wedding Cake: Evi Andrianti of Simply Cakes / Hair & Makeup Artist: Rebecca Bai / Cake Stands: Belle Gualtier / Leah Johnsen: Leah Johnsen
