I always love seeing brand new bridal hairpieces from designers. There are so many alternative, different ideas to a traditional veil, that if a veil isn’t your thing then you can certainly find something just as beautiful for your own wedding day look.

Today’s shoot, a collaboration between photographers The Wanderers & The Wolves and hair & makeup artist (and milliner!) Melissa of Birdsnest Bridal exploring Melissa’s creations, (made petal by petal using unique millinery tools) and the beautiful venue, Reids Place- surrounded by beautifully kept cottage gardens, lead light windows, and plenty of antique trinkets.

Inspired by beautiful, once off gowns produced from vintage fabrics by Fabled & True, the team found themselves enchanted by the gowns and wanting to create a shoot that showcased different hairpieces and alternative looks for brides.

Adding to the team was assistant hair stylist Khesanh Brock and models Mary Hecker (represented by boss) , Natasha Crowe and Montana Lower.
