Colour

Your formal shoes don’t have to be black. Many guys think that for a formal occasion like a wedding black is the only option but this does not have to be the case. Brown leather shoes have a timeless elegance that when working with other accessories such as your watchband and belt can really give your suit some punch. If you are wearing a dark grey suit, consider chocolate brown lace ups. If you are going for a lighter coloured suit a caramel brown shoe can look fantastic. If you’re really feeling adventurous you could go a blue or white shoe but keep these ideally to weddings in the hotter months. Your shoes can be a real indicator of personality so take a walk on the wild side- it is your wedding after all. Just make sure you match your accessories to your shoes to keep the look cohesive.
