I will admit that a relaxing honeymoon in England was something that had never crossed my mind. It was in a conversation with an English girlfriend of mine that I discovered the true beauty and tranquility that is hidden in the valleys of England. Cotswold was her first suggestion when I asked about an ideal honeymoon destination in England. Naturally, I had no idea what she was talking about. She started describing the place with words such as tranquil, idyllic, charming and simply amazing. Full of intrigue, the next step was to find accommodation and didn’t I find the most picturesque places. One place stood out and that was Ellenborough Park.

Ellenborough Park is the most enchanting hotel of them all in Cotswold. Ellenborough Park is a 16th century manor house with a world class spa and gourmet restaurant. What more can you ask for!

For the more adventurous they offer polo, shooting and archery as well as spa treatments, luxury pools and horse riding. Not to mention, Ellenborough Park is located in THE supreme location of Cotswold. So, if you’re a history lover like I am, the hotel is surrounded by quaint villages and ancient castles which only makes the city more seductive.

The manor is simply enchanting. It would make anyone staying there feel like royalty. Being the only 5 star hotel in Cheltenham (part of Cotswold), it epitomises elegance and gives honeymooners the chance to truly unwind and enjoy their surroundings. I can now see why my friend’s first words when asked about honeymoons in England were Costwold!
