unique wedding registry the wedding nest

Wedding registries are as wild and as varied as we are nowadays – one does not need to be limited to a traditional department store. So let me introduce you to the interesting and helpful registry concept of The Wedding Nest. The wedding registry offers not just the basics, but beautiful pieces that you will fall in love with adding style and character to your home.

From one off gifts, to pieces sourced from around the globe, The Wedding Nest team work hard to find gifts that are as different and as unique as you are. But selecting the gifts is only the first step. Your guests will enjoy a beautifully compiled registry look book (no photocopied lists here!) and you even have access to the interior styling service that an help you figure out the best items for your home. It’s all 100% online so guests can shop at their leisure (and so can you!)

We asked Zoe of The Wedding Nest five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink?

Margarita if I’m out and about, or a glass of vino on the balcony if I’m relaxing at home.

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Palm Beach- less than an hour out of Sydney and feels like miles away. Plus I love the Avalon shops.

Favourite restaurant?

Mrs G’s in Potts Point- fresh, fun food and decor.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

Breakfast bowl at the Boathouse in Palm Beach.

Your favourite wedding story?

Breaking away from the ceremony tradition, my business partner Jacqui invited 5 couples whose marriages they admired to speak during the service and each provide a word of wisdom for a happy marriage. My husband spoke before Jac’s grand mother and it was a wonderful way to bring a personal touch and lighten up what can otherwise be a bland ceremony for guests.
