One of those things that can really add atmosphere to your wedding is fantastic music, so with that let me introduce you to our vendor of the week Calibre Entertainment! From cover bands, jazz groups, DJs. MCs, duos, trios and even acoustic singers, these guys have the lot! They vow to be non cheesy and non daggy, instead they have young vendors on their books who are genuinely talented and genuinely want to make sure your event is the best one they’ve done!
You can book everything from ceremony through to reception and MCs through Calibre Entertainment, their consultants working one on one with you to make sure you have the right talent for your wedding!

Your favourite wedding story?
When my sister came to me a few months before her wedding day to ask for a favour I was initially worried. However, she came to me to ask if my business Calibre Entertainment would take care of the entertainment. I was so pleased to do this for her and whilst sitting in the small chapel in Sorrento watching my sister walk down the aisle, I felt a sense of deep satisfaction as one of our talented flamenco guitarists was playing ‘Here Comes the Sun’ (her favourite song). Later on at the reception our most popular wedding band The Detours got the dance floor pumping with all the old school hits that everyone loves. It was truly a fairytale wedding for my sister and I was proud to help her dream come to life.

I can attest to Calibre. My sister used them to find an acoustic duo and DJ – they were really good and definitely not old and corny. I’ll be using them for my wedding (if it ever comes lol!)

We unfortunately found our experience with Calibre Entertainment to be very disappointing. The guys are very laid back, borderline not fussed. We found the service to be very average, and because we wanted everything to be of a very high standard, they just didn’t meet our expectations. The mic was echoey on the night, we couldn’t hear the sax playing at all, they hadn’t written down our play list properly and the DJ had attitude. I think if you go with these guys make sure you have a meeting with them before hand before you pay anything.
Always grateful for the feedback. This particular event had various challenges that our performers did their best in overcoming. We take pride in providing premium entertainment for Weddings and corporate functions. All of our musicians are University trained and respectful at all times. Since 2015, we have grown as a company and continue to receive glowing feedback regularly. We hope you find a more suitable solution in the future.
Calibre Entertainment was the BEST choice my husband and I made for entertainment during our wedding this year. We loved how you could watch the videos of each act on their website to make our decision easier.
