People from Melbourne love visiting the Mornington Peninsula for a weekend or even a meal in one of the many wineries and restaurants dotted about this beautiful part of Victoria. So Epicurean Red Hill is  just the place to have your wedding – not too far from Melbourne and a stunning venue to boot. Architect designed with wooden furniture by Mark Tuckey, Epicurean Red Hill has an Australian flavour with corrugated iron and wooden beams, but enough sophistication with its glass roof and modern touches to give your wedding the unforgettable wow factor.

We asked Kate of Epicurean Red Hill five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink?

A fabulous glass of pinot noir, or a classic dirty martini.

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Noosa.

Favourite restaurant?

Anywhere funky in Melbourne – love exploring new restaurants.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

Poached eggs, avocado, local tomatoes and cheese, finished with coffee.

Your favourite wedding story?

We hosted a recent wedding, where we also looked after the offsite ceremony at the groom’s family home in Somers. The ceremony had a special guest – a resident koala, who chose the tree directly above the bride and groom to spend the afternoon. With many guests from overseas, the ‘Australian’ element was a gorgeous and spontaneous touch, that made the day truly unique.
