Nothing quite gives atmosphere to a wedding like amazing music and so today, we’re thrilled to show off our vendor of the week – Boutique Band! Boutique Band is led by  Rebecca Walker a classically trained pianist and singer. Rebecca is joined by other talented musicians allowing you to mix and match your wedding music choices. The band can do everything from extensive wedding reception packages, to a live vocalist at your ceremony and they can even MC the whole event!

We asked Rebecca of Boutique Band five questions in five minutes:

What is your favourite after five drink?

Dry gin martini with an olive.

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Any winery region – Yarra Valley is stunning.

Favourite restaurant?

Quaff in Toorak.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

Scrambled eggs and bacon.

Your favourite wedding story?

Years ago we did a wedding where the bride and groom had organized for butterflies to be released at the end of the ceremony. As they hadn’t actually organized anyone to release said butterflies and the band were standing right there, we got to do it! It was actually a lovely experience. Something very different and memorable that I had never seen before and haven’t seen since.
