Happy Monday Dotties! I managed to fit in a weekend full of quiet, which for me is pretty rare. What did you get up to this weekend?

Monday morning comes around quickly and so it’s time to highlight and show off the members of Ms Polka Dot’s Directory.  We have Entertainment, we have Catering, we have Stationery and Paper Goods, we even have Bridesmaid Gowns! We work hard to attract the best vendors who love to discuss your wedding plans with you and provide the best possible service for your wedding day.

Check out Ms Polka Dot’s Directory for wedding vendors who will love your wedding as much as you!

Louise and Lachlan of Ginger and Spice Photography always photograph weddings together so as not to miss a moment of your day. Capturing all those small and sometimes unplanned, moments of the day that together tell the story of the first day of your married life – the ‘real deal’ as they say, is the essence of their photography style. Every story unique – just like you.

We asked Louise of Ginger and Spice Photography five questions in five minutes:

What is your favourite after five drink?

A cloudy apple cider. Preferably one made in Australia!

Your favourite weekend getaway?

We recently escaped Brissie and visited Girraween National Park for an overnight hike, and camped on top of South Bald Rock! It was an amazing experience, the night sky was stunning.

Favourite restaurant?

VegeRama in West End (Brisbane) for sure! We live nearby so often walk down for a yummy veggie meal.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

Something delicious and home cooked – last Sunday I made french toast with poached pears. 🙂

Your favourite wedding story?

We photographed the wedding of Sarah and Andrew at Twin Waters, on the Sunshine Coast two summers ago. It was a gorgeous day, and we had some amazing (and unplanned) animal encounters along the way! This really made the day extra special, as the bride Sarah is a veterinary nurse. We photographed the happy couple standing on the shore of the Maroochy river, near a large stringray which was resting in the shallows, which was awesome. And then as we made our way back towards the reception venue, we came across some kangaroos and Sarah and Andrew were able to have a portrait taken with them. It made an already perfect day even more unique and special! The couple also had their cute pooch Huxley as the ring bearer – adorable!
