Saber Events recently found a new home in Stones Corner, Brisbane, and so they decided to pop the champagne and celebrate in style with a grand opening to showcase their Spring Collection. The talented team at the one-stop shop for wedding planning and styling were kind enough to give me a preview of their latest inspired designs.

“Our Spring Collection is inspired by the 1940’s & 1950’s where colour was first introduced on television and when copper coins were prevalent. The colour copper started in the home with antique decor and crockery and is now making a big comeback in the event styling industry. Our Spring Collection also includes black to complement this popular metallic hue.”

“Our Spring collection showcases what is on trend this wedding season – metallic hues and floral! The idea behind our one metre floral stand is we wanted a centrepiece you could use to elevate floral blooms without the need for expensive hanging suspended arrangements or using bulky glassware. It is a classy look that can be both dressed up or down depending on the personality of the client or the type of the event.”

I also checked in with the Saber Events team as to why they think it’s best to seek professionals, and here’s what they had to say: “Hiring a wedding planner saves you time as you can rely on someone else to make your dreams come to life. This is our job, we like planning and organising events, we want you to focus on your life and not have to worry about the details.”

“You also save money as we have great industry contacts and often get discounts which saves you the headache of trying to find one of a kind items. Hiring a stylist is a great way to bring your vision and creativity to your wedding day – a good stylist has the ability to recreate a theme, but with your own personal twist.”
