1. What is your favourite Christmas food?
I love love love a glazed Christmas ham! Especially sandwiched with butter and hot English mustard between slices of soft white bread. Yum!

2. What is your favourite Christmas movie?
I used to love “A Christmas Story”! This has just reminded me. I must go watch it again. It’s been too long.

3. Your favourite Christmas drink?
Bubbles at breakfast.

4. Your favourite Christmas song?
I just love Christmas carols in general. The more the merrier.

5. Is there something you love to do every Christmas?
Decorate the tree, cook for friends and family and wrap presents while listening to carols.

6. How do you Deck the Halls? What is your favourite Christmas decoration?
It changes every year! This year we have a very small tree on a side board as we have a very active 11 month old who is into everything!

7. Do you have any Christmas family traditions?
Each year it changes depending on where we are and who we are celebrating with. If we are with my family in New Zealand, we tend to graze all day on ham, seafood and salads. Plus there are a crazy amount of presents which take all day to open as there are lots of kids. If we are in Australia with my in-laws we tend to have a swim in the morning followed by one big lovely long meal with a roast and lots of trimmings.

8. Do you have a favourite shop that you visit at Christmas time?
Well emerald + ella of course!

9. Do you bake at Christmas time? If yes, what are your favourite things to bake? Would you share the recipe?
I’m not much of a baker, so I tend to do the ham if we are here. I have recently shared a recipe for smoky peach homemade mustard on the blog which would be the perfect accompaniment to Christmas ham!

10. Where will you be spending Christmas this year?
We still don’t know! Either in Sydney or Newcastle at this stage. It will be a very relaxing, laid-back affair this year.

11.Where does Santa leave presents in your house?
We have stockings hanging by the fire place.

12. What do you leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve?
Goodness, I haven’t done this since I was a kid but I guess our son Max will be old enough for these fun traditions soon. As children we used to leave beer and a carrot I think? Poor Dad had to get up in the middle of the night and drink down the beer (as it would have been a waste to pour it out!)
