Winter is a magical time of year for a wedding. The theme  “just picked from the garden” style has been popular with brides throughout 2016, and this gorgeous trend doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere for the next year or so!

Wintertime calls for foliage and branches. Some of our favourites include curly willow, ivy berry, eucalyptus (it smells great) silver suede and viburnum. They’re all seasonal and will add dimension to even the simplest arrangements.  Winter offers beautiful blooms and to keep with the “picked from the garden” theme we recommend you use varieties of winter blooms such as sweet pea, garden roses and tulips.

When it comes to colour for your winter blooms there really isn’t one ‘most popular’ colour palette – all of them are amazing! Deep tones of pink, red and burgundy look perfect for those winter weddings and definitely sets the mood for a dramatic, romantic, whimsical winter celebrations. Alternatively, soft colours of white and cream look stunning with touches of peach and pale pink.
