Arguably one of the best travel bloggers, Nicola, has captured us and fuelled our desire to travel with her very intriguing blog Polkadot Passport (we love the name too of course!) With over 115,000 followers on Instagram, Polkadot Passport showcases beautiful locations all around the globe. Nicola defines herself as a photographer, blogger and adventurer and says she is lucky enough to travel the world for a living and share these incredible experiences with her followers and we are so glad she does exactly that. Nicola took time out of her adventurous life to share with us some incredible locations you must add to your bucket list!
What is your favourite region?
Europe has totally stolen my heart – I love the beauty of the architecture, the diversity of food and the incredible cultures that you can reach so easily when travelling in the region.
Top resort recommendation?
The Four Seasons Sayan is by far the most incredible resort I’ve stayed in! Located in the lush, tropical rainforest of Ubud, Bali, this resort is a tranquil haven and the perfect place to go to escape reality.
The private villas on offer are truly divine. Each comes with its own private plunge pool surrounded by lush jungle and a luxurious bathtub peering out over the beautiful greenery. The Villas are beautifully decorated in a contemporary Balinese style, reflecting the natural beauty of the island through teak furnishings and exotic patterned details. You can feel the serenity seep through your bones within minutes in this sanctuary!
Suggestions for great honeymoon activities
To me, the best honeymoon activities are the most adventurous ones. Climbing a mountain and having a picnic at the top at sunset would be my top pick!

I think the ideal location would be a private hot air balloon over Cappadocia in Turkey.
Best kept secret honeymoon location
As much as people seem to associate going to a tropical island with idyllic honeymoons, I do believe there are some great spots to go in Australia that make for equally incredible experiences! Tasmania, for example, is such a stunning place to visit and I personally think it would make a great honeymoon location for any couple looking for something a little different. With its white sand beaches, dramatic mountain scenery, gourmet food and wine, and a range of spectacular accommodation options!
