Dreamy pale blues, classic whites and citrus yellows are the focal point of Thurley “Aegean Dreaming” Resort 2016 collection. The pieces of which evoke beautiful dreams of the beach, long Summer days and also happen to work beautifully for brides, bridesmaids and dancing down the aisle dresses.
Designer Helen O’Connor tells, “I want my garments to evoke the same sense of ease, confidence and contentment that only a day of bathing in the sea and summer sun can bring you.”
The resort collection, inspired by the Amalfi Coast is created around beautiful fabrics of hand dyed silk georgette, linen and fringing- sparkling embellishments added to reflect the twinkling of the sea bathed in sun light. Thurley prides themselves on high quality and each and every piece in the collection is crafted by hand, allowing experimental finishes – netting bonded onto stiffer foundations, delicate laces paired with linens and georgette, embroidery and appliques that add a modern edge to the beautiful creations.
The Thurley collection drops in store and online between October – December.
