The dynamic duo of Peppermint Photography and Elizabeth Crossley Makeup Artist & Hairstylist are back with this modern and utterly romantic styled shoot, set against a backdrop of crashing waves and epic cliffs. The photographer said that they wanted to create something that you would find in a dream or movie – something modern and minimalist. The palette for alluring and decadent seaside wedding inspiration shoot consisted of ivory, charcoal, black and metallics – a nod to noir and a sleek aesthetic. “Noir is thrown against a moody sky, twilight unfolds on a beach, utilising the naturally spectacular backdrop of the water,” tells the photographer of the shoot’s concept.

The pair set to making their vision a reality with gowns from Karen Willis Holmes, striking florals by Bramble Haus entwined with silks from Songbird Silk, and bohemian, elaborate accessories from Beyond the Forest. The shoot was complimented by modern stationery in onyx, ivory and metallics by Lindqvist Ink, not to mention the decadent, and no doubt delicious, two-tiered, black, ivory and gold splattered cake from BVKED. All of these elements, together with the show stopping beauty of a deserted, overcast coastline, create inspiration for the bride who wants something a little darker, and a little epic.
