Fiona & Russell

I think the beach on colder, stormy days is quite possibly one of my favourite dramatic backdrops. Seas in all different shades of green blue and grey, skies of gold and orange and sands that glisten and gleam. Fiona and Russell chose this very backdrop for their engagement shoot with Tyler Brown. The beautiful Western Australian Trigg Beach setting the scene.

Fiona tells “We met through a mutual friend. Russell moved down to the country where I lived and moved in with his cousin who was my best friend. Russell then came down to visit his friend and met me and that was it!”

Fiona tells the story of how her husband to be popped the question. “After 11 years of dating Russell finally decided to make the move! He arranged a surprise ‘birthday’ trip for me to Portugal (we live in London at the moment) and arranged for us to stay in a palace with beautiful gardens. He waited until the day we were leaving as it was pouring with rain to take me out into the gardens and get down on one knee to propose. I promptly pulled him up worrying about his knee getting wet!”

“I love the beach and living in London we don’t get to see much of it and our wedding was on a farm so we thought it would be great to get some beach shots too and they worked out amazingly.”

“Tyler was the most incredible photographer, he made us feel comfortable, happy and made it all very easy. Everyone at our wedding commented on how great he was. It was even sad to see him go at the end of the night at the wedding as he was so easy and fun to get on with.

Not only this his photos are incredible, so many people have commented on them and so far I have only had a sample of a few! People have said that they look like they have come from a magazine.”
