Elli & Tyronne

It poured with rain on Elli and Tyronne’s wedding day. A garden wedding turned into a wedding with a special type of ethereal fog, of deeper, richer colours and a spectacular sunset.

Captured by Peppermint Photography, the couple chose a beautiful homestead for their vintage Winter homestead wedding. Guests greeted with hot cups of tea, beautiful cake and an intimate setting – with no time limits or restrictions that allowed the newlyweds to put their own stamp on the day.

The bride chose a gown from  Spell, noting “It was actually my second buy. I like to be different and loved the detail. The dress felt very personal coming from a boutique with so much love and originality in their clothing.”

Branell Homestead Bed & Breakfast was chosen as the venue, Elli remembers “Everything was all in one location and we had free reign to pretty much do what we wanted, and it was BYO, no drink packages or time limits.”

The couple wed under a wooden arch, handcrafted by the groom from wood from Pa’s paddock.

The bride walked down the aisle to Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.”

The bride notes “Tyronne and I knew each other from high school but reconnected after. We know we are meant to be together because when you look forward to waking up next to someone and waiting for them to get home every day, you enjoy their presence and being with them day in and day out, that’s love.”

Elli advises “You will have so many people giving you advice, ideas and direction. At the end of the day stand up for what you want and make sure you have it your way! It goes way too fast for you not to enjoy and love your special day. Get one of those wedding planner folders, saved my life!”

Of their photographer, the bride remarks “Amanda went above and beyond to make the day relaxed, fun and quirky.”

Elli notes “I loved seeing everything come together. You spend so much time trying to imagine what it will look like. Myself in my dress with hair, makeup and all the details. The reception at night with the fairy lights, candles and how warm it felt.”

The newlyweds chose Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” for their first dance. Elli noting ” I think we picked the perfect song that actually told a story about our relationship.”

Congratulations Ellie and Tyronne! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you also to Peppermint Photography for sharing today’s celebration!
