Its all about modern lines and crisp shapes with today’s modern wedding inspiration with sleek details.

Against the neutral modern space of the private dining room at Lucky Penny, model  Edith Kenny-Smith donned chic gowns from Karen Willis Holmes and made the most of the setting filled with vintage furniture and rugs from Good Day Club  which added a little whimsy style to the shoot.

The Gathering Florist created beautiful bouquets of marsala and rose coloured flowers, and stepped outside of the box with a sheaf of pampas grass adding something unexpected to the look.

Modern stationery with metallic golden detailing designed by Kate Robertson for Paperlust adorned the tablescape, filled with metallic flatware and decorated with blush, peach and raisin flowers in clear glass vessels, adding something rather romantic.

And of course, there was cake – Cherrytree Bakehouse creating a tall masterpiece of white chocolate and raspberry that when adorned with fresh flowers, became the star of the show.

All of this, of course, was captured beautifully by Fern and Stone Photography who also captured a behind the scenes film of the day and noted “I wanted to join forces with Melbourne’s best wedding vendors and showcase our awesome work. I wanted to experiment with winter blooms and vintage wares, with the flowers to be wild and whimsical to contrast with the sleek styling.”
