We adore beautiful blooms at Polka Dot Bride and when a team of talented creatives join forces to create something special together, we’re always smitten. Today’s vintage flower-filled wedding inspiration takes three completely different looks – from gorgeous sweet pastels to chic greenery and tailors them to a beautiful style of days gone by.

With  Strawberry Fields Photography behind the lens and Flowers at Haberfield  with flowers in hand, our model wore gorgeous pieces from Soma Design with hair by  Style with a Twist and makeup from Brittany Rose Makeup. Each look beautifully transformed with the floral details set against the chic white backdrop that was a blank canvas for what was to come.

Look one is filled with pastel pretties. Inspired by the beauty of a garden, beautiful roses in shades of pink, apricot and cream were set in brass vases. The timeless elegance of an all-white setting with just the pink, apricot and green tones gives a special sense of classical styling with an elegant look.

Catherine of Flowers at Haberfield remarking “As a team, we live and work in an environment that is laden with history; of foraged and found things. Having a bucket and snips in the car, I am continually stalking the local streets for foliage, grasses and berries from old plants which are no longer grown. This led to the initial idea for the shoot- an old flower garden inspired bouquet.”

Look number two is a beautiful take on green and gold. A nod to the Pantone “Greenery” colour of the year, the backdrop of Monstera leaves with gold echoes the delicately beaded wedding gown. This look is all about chic greenery – the bouquet of foliage creating its own magic drama.

Utterly romantic with burgundy, deep green and vintage rose, the final look is all about rich, deep luxury.

A beautifully textured gown is simple in its silhouette yet stunning in its beauty, paired with a beautifully crafted raspberry red and cream floral neckpiece and the bride stands surrounded by deep burgundy flowers with dark green foliage.
