I’m getting married this February, groom and groomsmen are wearing black suits, bridesmaids are in a gorgeous sage green, my dress is considered a warm white.

What colour flowers would you recommend for my bridesmaids and I? Hope you can help me.

Congratulations on your wedding in February!

The flowers – you could either keep all the flowers to shades of white, cream and warm white with touches only of green in leaves that are nearest to your sage green colour. Wrap the bouquets in sage green ribbon and secure with pearl headed pins.
Or the same colours but tied with bronze ribbon secured with sage green pearl headed pins.
Another combination is  soft and mid pink, sage green and warm white – very feminine.
Try an ‘old rose’ colour which is a deeper and slightly ‘grey-er’ pink, just as sage green is a slightly ‘grey-er’ green. Team this with warm white, soft pink and greens.
Or try shades of apricot and deeper coral touched with warm white, tied with warm white or sage green ribbons.
Another scheme to think about is sky blue – think hydrangeas and warm white tied with sage green ribbon.
Perhaps your groom and groomsmen could echo any of these colour schemes in tie, pocket handkerchiefs or even fun socks.
The table flowers (if you are having any) at your reception should ideally be the same as in your bouquets to tie the ‘look’ together. Perhaps flowers placed in little groups or singly in little containers scattered over the tables will give you a light summery look – rather than large formal arrangements which may look heavier.

All the best for a wonderful day- let me know how you go!
