With the winter chill now in the air, Emporium Hotel‘s ‘Hickory Bacon Old Fashioned’ sets the scene for a cosy night in front of the fire! The sweet addition of smooth maple syrup and crispy bacon makes this cocktail just too good!

Ingredients:

60ml House made bacon fat-wash Bulleit bourbon
10ml Maple syrup
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Hickory smoke

Method:

Smoke an Old Fashioned glass with hickory smoke. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir over ice. Single strain with julep over a block of ice and serve garnished with bacon and
dehydrated orange.
