Zoom Zoom Zoom – Choosing Wedding Transport
by Polkadot Bride
And you thought I’d forget about the cars! I think not!
Now I know for many of you guys out there cars might be the one thing you are looking forward to picking out.
There are a few important things to remember about picking out the cars for the day.
Try and pick out something that reflects as much about you as a couple as it does about the wedding.

Photo from London Wedding Taxis
Something that has a throwback to your heritage for example, such as London Taxi’s for you Brits out there. Or Cadillac’s or Chevy’s for our US readers.
Whilst the traditional colour for your wedding day car ribbon is white, you can also look at using a different colour. Perhaps one to match the theme of the rest of the wedding.

There are many different options for how you obtain a car for your wedding day. You may already have the car you want to use or you may belong to a car club with generous members who make their cars available to you on the day. Just make sure if you are borrowing cars the owner is reliable with their promise. We don’t want to be left without a car last minute now!
If you want a reliable provider of your wedding day car, perhaps look into hiring from a company who is a member of your local Wedding Car Association . These associations usually have a set code of conduct and often have their members fully licensed to operate as wedding car providers.

Another big decision to be made which will greatly affect cost, how long do you want the car? Do you want it the whole day to ferry you all around, or do you just want it at the ceremony and for photos?
One more important thing to remember as well is ease of access. There’s nothing worse than having your lovely wife climbing into the back of a car in a very unflattering way. We want her to feel beautiful remember!
