I received some beautiful samples of Chicago based stationer Sarah Drake over the holidays and was immediately enchanted by not only the beautiful presentation but the sweet ideas. Sarah is inspired by nature and uses Japanese design values in her designs.

The invitation I received (Red Flower) was delivered in a crisp cream envelope. The invitation itself was wrapped with a rich red silk ribbon. The nifty idea of a perforated line allowed for the three fold invitation to also form a response card.

While there are standard designs, Sarah Drake also creates beautiful couture pieces, individual to each couple.

Sarah Drake has also released a range of couture correspondence stationery in six designs (Spring, Water, Park Lane, Flight, Forrest and Love Notes) printed onto 100% cotton paper.
