Ouma
by Polkadot Bride
I feel like I need something soft and dreamy today and Ouma seems to be just the ticket! I can get lost looking at the dreamy photos of these frocks.
With her store located on etsy, Ouma by designer Monique Martinez’s stunning creations are a perfectly gorgeous choice for a wedding gown. Soft luscious layers, ruffled skirts, bold striped accents and plenty of bows, Monique desrcribes the label as a “casual meeting of the classics”. Personally I’d love to see a bride in the bold black and white bodiced “Striped Carnival” party dress.

Mariana Hardwick – Veronica Lake
by Polkadot Bride
Melbourne designer Mariana Hardwick has launched a brand new collection “New Romantics”. Inspired by a recent trip to Europe, Mariana’s signature style is ever present in the brand new range of sumptuous gowns. With dramatic beading, beautiful blush pinks, rosy lattes and dramatic whites.
Inspired by the 1930s actress Veronica Lake, the collection bears the same name and pays homage to the elaborate style of the art deco period. Number #7 is my favourite with it’s incredible colour and gorgeous draping, which is yours?

Luci Di Bella
by Polkadot Bride
I’ve long been an admirer of Luci Di Bella. Her designs are all about the 20s, 30s and 40s and have a beautiful timeless glamour to them.
Designed to compliment the natural lines of the female form, each gown, enhances rather than competes with the bride’s overall look. Skirts are slim, waists nipped in and the most beautiful of laces compliment the smooth lines.
