The best advice I could ever give you is to take time away after the wedding, so really it seemed only fitting to add a honeymoon blog to our new site!

Dream away the hours wishing of exotic locations, get travel tips, share travel tips, review your fabulous honeymoon and take us to new and interesting places!

Emma of Emma Smith Stationery shared her favourite place with us last week..

My favourite holiday spot is pretty much anywhere tropical. I love Fiji as I have two small children and it is great family value…..but we steer clear of the larger resorts and head to our little favourite island “Treasure Island“.

It is quiet, relaxing and the food is to die for! The kids are taken care of for 4 hours a day so me and my Mr get plenty of time for ourselves. It is a great place for honeymooners and families and to even have a wedding. There is the most gorgeous little white chapel.

Can you tell that if I had my time over, that’s where I would get married? Great place for a destination wedding. However we are giving Fiji a miss this year and heading to the beautiful Port Douglas (Far North Queensland – 8 weeks to go – not counting though, hehe). It is our 10 year wedding anniversary and going back to where we honeymooned, with even talk of renewing our vows! Ain’t love grand?
