Silver Sixpence specialises in creating custom vintage inspired wedding and evening dresses. Melanie can work with you to create a one of a kind dress that really brings out your own personality based on designs from the 20s through to the 60s.

In addition to the custom dressmaking service, Silver Sixpence also has a lovely range of vintage inspired made to order wedding & evening dresses. All of these gowns are also hand made to order by Melanie using high quality fabrics and are available in standard sizes making them perfect for those who are unable to attend regular in person fittings at Silver Sixpence’s Brisbane based studio.

As an exciting new addition in 2013 Silver Sixpence has launched their brand new label, Retro Bride, a collection of vintage inspired dresses made to order at really affordable prices for the budget conscious bride, bridesmaid or mother of the bride or groom.

Of course, no retro gown would be complete without a fabulous petticoat, so Silver Sixpence has that covered with their line of gorgeous soft chiffon petticoats, that are also new for 2013, available in a range of colours, sizes and lengths.
