You may remember when I talked about Dream Day Wedding, a game which had me enthralled (or perhaps procrastinating is the better word?) for hours trying to plan the perfect wedding for our Dream Day couple. Well the wedding is over and Dream Day Honeymoon has been released!

The game takes the lead from Dream Day Wedding and takes you to destinations to search for weird and wonderful things (a stapler on the beach!) Of course you pick wonderful presents and play memory games in order to buy a first class flight home.

The second game is so Polka Dot Bride! Wedding Dash is hot off the press and it follows the same story as the famous ‘Diner Dash’ games and has you planning the perfect wedding- the groom hates spices, the bride loves chocolate.
Pick the perfect combination and head to the wedding day where you’re sent to deliver presents to the happy couple, serve three course meals, break up fights and console weeping aunts- sounds like a typical day for a wedding coordinator to us!

The guests (like typical wedding guests) have their seating requests, some want to be seated next to the blonde bombshell, others next to the distinguished grey haired chap. Some would rather sit anywhere but next to the ginger haired lady!

Of course, like Diner Dash, as levels progress the game gets harder with more guests and more problems to solve (again sounds like the typical wedding!)

Wedding Dash and Dream Day Honeymoon and of course, Dream Day Wedding are available for trial and purchase from PlayFirst
I have been having serious blog withdrawal issues- but rest assured its all for a good cause!

I recently came across the cutest new site for wedding bits and pieces.
Called ‘Almost Everything’ the store is based online in Melbourne and Hong Kong (which means they have easy access to lots of goodies) They sell everything from rhinestone buckles (perfect for invites) to packets of hundreds of ribbon bows. For any DIYer this site is a must see!
Rhinestone Square Buckle $39 for 50
Everything from embelisshments to unique papers are taken care of- there’s even goodies for scrapbookers! Fabric flowers, gingham hearts, anyone with a crafty bone in their body will find this site tempting!
The possibilities and inspiration you can come up with using Almost Everything are endless…if you’re like me you’ll be tempted to order 100 ribbon bows, though I haven’t figured out the use for them yet! But I have figured out the use for their fabric hearts- Valentine’s Day! (is it too early?)
Red Fabric Heart Embellishment 50 for $9.90

Rebecca Romijin & Jerry O’Connell married this past weekend in a surprise ceremony. Guests sat on hay bails and quilts as they watched the marriage ceremony held in the backyard of an LA home with the couples dogs present.
I love Rebecca’s Ralph Lauren Gown and the binding on her bouquet- the couple could not look happier!
Surprise weddings are always a fun relaxed way which take all the hassle out of planning the day!

I’m such a stationery addict- take me to Officeworks and I can find things I never knew I needed..a paper store? Yes i do have a collection of paper and notebooks too lovely to write in.
So I’m especially intrigued by the letterpress process. Letterpress printers use a special printer where they align the individual design features or plates, which is then pressed into the paper rather than ‘on’. The paper is often made of cotton fibres and is a laborious job to create!
I found a great movie on the process which you can view to get a feel for the technique.
Letterpress brings a special something to wedding invites- a vintage handmade feel which can leave a beautiful impression on your guests. Letterpress allows you to create an almost 3D effect on your paper with embossing, debossing, special inks, beautiful card- all presenting a perfect package and a feast for the eyes.
Check out these Aussie companies who are doing the letterpress beauties!

Well in the bitterly cold winter its hard to think in just a few months our feature bride Abbey will be heading down the aisle!
Abbey’s crossed a few more things off her to do list- the boys have their suits, the girls have their jewels and BIG NEWS! She found a dress! Following an advert in a bridal magazine (which proclaimed they had free champagne!) Abbey headed to a bridal store a few weekends ago…and there she found the dress of her dreams. Strapless and very princess like- very Abbey!
Unfortunately there was no champagne (false advertising! Don’t tempt the brides with bubbles!) and her dream dress was out of her price range (”Do we have to pay for the boys suits?” she asked “If not I can buy my dress!”)
We headed to the designer’s website and found a list of stockists and Abbey started contacting them- and it was a big win…a store in her city was willing to order in the dress at $1k cheaper!
So Abbey will be walking down the aisle in her dream dress… unfortunately she is still shoe less and her bridesmaids are still dress less (Her anti bridesmaid like dress stance is hard to take when stores are full of winter woolies and no spring dresses!) and she has narrowed her photography search down to three!
Counting down the days!

Ok! Magazine has all credit to these shots..but a sneak peak at happy Eva Longoria on her wedding day!

In the depths of winter I headed over to Kate’s Paperie- Kate’s Paperie is a US store which is full of beautiful designs perfect to draw inspiration on.

This gorgeous image hit me on the way in- I know being in the currently freezing Australia i should be talking about ways to make winter weddings beautiful, but this image led me to dream of citrus cocktails in the sun… Perhaps the inspiration for a summer bride? Orange gowns on bridesmaids with green sashes…centerpieces of limes, lemons and oranges piled high…homemade lemonade with ice served as a post ceremony drink (perhaps with a dash of vodka?)
Kate’s Paperie is filled with the most gorgeous products- from chocolate striped gift bags to cute paper suitcases. If that isn’t enough to get your senses working the combinations of different designs will be! They ship to Australia so you cna drool in pure comfort that you won’t have to miss out!

If that isn’t enough for you today i also stumbled across this site from another of my morning reads Romantic Flowers has the most gorgeous grosgrain ribbons in all sorts of sweet stripes. Rhinestone buckles, vintage style papers, polka dot bags and other delightful goodies for a perfectly sweet wedding.
