That Painted Guestbook
In my ABC Of Weddings: G For Guestbook entry I mentioned how you could get guests to contribute to a canvas as part of a collaborative art work. So I was excited to see the idea come to life on One Love Photo.
Shawn and Owen decided to do this at their wedding and had sunflowers with a grid sketched onto the canvas, the guests were invited by Kathleen (their appointed ‘art director’) to paint a square. After the wedding, she finished it up and a beautiful artwork was created.
Here’s a progress shot of a guest painting under Kathleen’s watchful eye when the painting was out during cocktail hour.
